I was raised in the countryside as the youngest of five children and early developed a deep love for graffiti and illustration which led me to beautiful Düsseldorf, the city where I successfully graduated in graphic design.
During my studies I started to focus on custom lettering and type design – I have ever been in love since. My work is characterized by great attention to detail and reaches from filigree ornamental pieces in oldschool style up to clean and modern designs with fancy elements. My major fields include branding, editorial illustrations and logo as well as poster design.
In 2017 I published my first typeface “Blackriver”. Over the last years type design and selling fonts became the main part of my business. As I’m currently working on an own type foundry including an own font shop, I decided to not accept any commissioned work for a while.
As already mentioned above I recently decided to focus on font design which means that I won’t accept any commissioned work for an uncertain period. Anyway, if you have any questions feel free to send me an e-mail:
